Hano is a fictitious, upscale restaurant based in Hilo, Hawaii! They specialize in local cuisine and modernized classics in a fine dining environment. The name Hano comes from a traditional Hawaiian flute instrument that has been part of the music-making culture on the island for hundreds of years and is referenced in the logomark. The goal of this brand design was to marry a more colorful, vibrant color palette indicative of Hawaii’s rich culture while also having the same subtly and luxury that high-end eateries have with their minimalist branding.
